The Next Gen Programme

A free programme to inspire and support sixth form students to pursue a career in healthcare run by qualified UK healthcare professionals and senior healthcare students.

About the Programme

Stage 1 - Discover

The first stage of the programme involves students engaging in a healthcare careers workshop which will be delivered in your school (or virtually if you prefer) by a trained Future Frontline volunteer who will be either a qualified healthcare professional or senior healthcare student.

Stage 2 - Explore

Students who complete stage 1 of the programme will then be able to explore each healthcare career further through a series of work experience virtual events each covering a different profession. The webinars will feature a panel made up of qualified professionals and students in that career.

Stage 3 - Succeed

Once students have decided on which degree or apprenticeship they would like to pursue they will be able to attend webinars and workshops designed to equip them with the skills to make a successful application onto their chosen course. Programme participants will be awarded a certificate to recognise their engagement.
